We are delighted to welcome Tejaswini Apte as the new ACM-W Celebration Chair!

Tejaswini is an experienced cybersecurity and database professional with nearly two decades of expertise in operating systems and network security, cloud administration, database administration, and performance tuning. Over the course of her career, she has worked with leading organisations such as IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and Amdocs, designing and delivering in-person and virtual trainings on technologies including Oracle (9i–19c), OpenStack, Linux, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Java, and Python.
Her teaching philosophy centres on hands-on learning. She has developed numerous instructional materials and virtual labs to maximise engagement and practical skill-building. Tejaswini’s credentials include multiple professional certifications (Oracle Database Professional, Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, and CEH) and academic degrees, including a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering.
With her strong technical expertise and passion for inclusive education, Tejaswini is eager to bring her energy and experience to ACM-W’s global Celebrations of Women in Computing. We look forward to working with her to expand opportunities for women technologists worldwide.
