Student Chapters

ACM-W Student Chapters offer unique opportunities for networking, mentoring, and bonding over shared interests. These chapters create a supportive environment within the student community while also extending their impact to local communities outside the institution.

Student chapters support women in their undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate goals by connecting them with peers and mentors. They receive guidance and resources from the global ACM community and have the opportunity to participate in Regional Celebrations of Women in Computing.

Professional Chapters

ACM-W Professional Chapters create welcoming and inclusive spaces for social interaction and professional discussions among peers in a local community. These chapters organize activities and events such as tech talks, social gatherings, professional networking sessions, career advice, mentoring opportunities, hackathons, celebrations, conferences, and community service. Members come from various areas of computing, including academia, research, business, and industry.
