I am pursuing a Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. I feel extremely delighted that my work got accepted at the 2023 IEEE/RSJ International Conference of Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) Late Breaking Results, held in Detroit, Michigan, USA, from 1st – 5th October 2023. IROS is one of the largest and most prestigious international conferences on robotics, with an emphasis on academic research.

I had a wonderful opportunity to present my work as a short talk as well as a poster in the Aerial Systems session, where I gained enriching feedback and enjoyed discussions with graduate students as well as faculties across the globe. I also enjoyed the plenary talks and the keynote sessions by multiple visionaries and researchers from Disney Research, GITAI, Michelle Johnson from UPenn, and many more. RAS (one of the sponsors of IROS) had also organized multiple networking sessions with peers and lunch sessions with the leaders, which were great learning experiences. There were multiple demo sessions and competitions in the exhibit halls, such as autonomous car racing competitions, walking robots, humanoids, etc., which were quite exciting.

It was my first international trip, which was one of the best experiences of my life. I also got a chance to visit many beautiful places in Detroit. I am extremely grateful to ACM-W for providing me with the scholarship, which supported my conference expenses immensely. Thank you! 🙂
