I had the privilege of attending the International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP) 2024, which took place over four days in the picturesque city of Visby, Sweden. It was an enriching experience both professionally and personally. The conference brought together leading researchers, practitioners, and academics from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and research in parallel processing. Held in Visby, a charming medieval town known for its well-preserved architecture and historic ambiance, the event provided a unique backdrop for the conference activities. I had the honor of presenting my paper on “Cache Line Pinning for Mitigating RowHammer Attack” there. The feedback I received from the audience was invaluable, sparking insightful discussions and providing constructive suggestions that will be instrumental for my future research and improvements.

The conference featured several keynote addresses which provided deep insights into current trends and future directions, highlighting the transformative impact of parallel processing on various domains. Attending the diverse range of technical sessions allowed me to explore the latest research developments and innovations. The event facilitated numerous networking opportunities with fellow researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals. Engaging in discussions and forming connections with experts in the field was one of the most rewarding aspects of the conference.

Visby’s medieval charm, with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings, provided a beautiful and serene environment for the conference. I had the chance to explore the town’s cultural heritage and enjoy its local cuisine, which added a delightful dimension to the trip.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the ACM-W scholarship program for their generous support. Overall, the International Conference on Parallel Processing was a highly rewarding experience. The exposure to cutting-edge research, the opportunity to present my work, and the chance to engage with the international research community made the conference both professionally and personally fulfilling.
