After receiving the news that I was awarded this scholarship, I decided to present a poster in the Career Workshop for Women and Minorities in Computer Architecture (CWWMCA) to make the most of the experience. The workshop, including top-researchers talks, was very refreshing. It helped me get a deeper insight of research life and procedures.
During the conference, I had the opportunity to talk with top researchers from both academia and industry who gave me good advice. The keynotes and the paper presentations were very interesting, I learned first-hand the state-of-the-art computer architecture and that made me have a better idea about topics I want to focus on for my future research.
