In September, I was able to attend the MODELS’24 conference in Linz Austria, and had a great experience. I was able to present my work at a workshop and compete in the ACM Student Research competition. I’m very proud to have won first place in the undergraduate category for the SRC! I learned a lot about effectively communicating my work, and I was able to network and meet so many inspiring members of the MODELS community. I gained valuable insight and guidance from established members and made friends with many other students my age.

I am incredibly thankful for the support of ACM-W that allowed me to attend MODELS’24. Attending this conference gave me invaluable experience that I know will aid me in my future research career. I am looking forward to attending other academic conferences in the future to further my experience, and hopefully positively impact the experience of other attendees.
