Attending EMNLP 2023 in Singapore allowed me to meet some of my collaborators in-person for the first time. I was also able to present two posters and moderate a Fireside chat. Additionally, I got to meet new people and potential collaborators and learn a lot from other researchers and their work. I also got to visit tourist attractions while in Singapore. I am grateful for ACM-W and Google for sponsoring my travel.
