I attended NeurIPS in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was my first in-person machine learning conference and I was grateful for the opportunity made possible by the ACM-W scholarship. The workshop sessions and posters were insightful and a great opportunity to network with other researchers. The conference events were also a great way to meet new people, hear about their work, and exchange ideas.
The city of New Orleans was an added bonus. The conference venue was in a convenient location, so I could explore the city and visit the famous landmarks.
Overall, I’m grateful for the ACM-W scholarship that made it happen, and I can’t wait for the next ML conference.
