Congratulations to the trailblazing ACM Fellows!
The ACM has named 55 members ACM Fellows for significant contributions to computing. The ACM Fellows program recognizes the top 1% of ACM Members for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology and/or outstanding service to ACM and the larger computing community. The women recognised as Fellows this year include:
- Susanne Bodker (Denmark) – For contributions to participatory design, computer-supported collaborative work, and human-computer interaction
- Dr. Marsha Chechik (Canada) – For contributions to formal reasoning for quality software development at scale
- Carla Fabiana Chiasserini (Italy) – For contributions to the design of high-performance mobile networks and services
- Diane Joyce Cook (USA)- For contributions to machine learning and digital health
- Mira Mezini (Germany) – For contributions to programming languages and software analysis with applications in distributed systems, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence and for contributions to learning-based code completion
- Fatma Ozcan (USA) – For contributions to the field of scalable data management systems
- Dana Randall (USA) – For contributions to the theory of Markov chains and Programmable Active Matter
