This November, I had the opportunity to attend QTML 2024 (the 8th International Conference on Quantum Techniques in Machine Learning) in Melbourne, Australia with the support of the ACM-W Scholarship. I was able to give a talk on one of my recent research projects and was a co-author on three other papers which had talks at the conference. It was a rewarding experience to see that other researchers were interested in my work and asked me questions following my presentation. I also had the opportunity to not only reconnect with old collaborators but also meet new people in my research area. These discussions inspired some future research directions, which I am excited to explore. Overall, I had a fantastic time spending the week immersed in recent research in quantum machine learning, and I am extremely grateful to the ACM-W Scholarship for funding me to attend.
