Dr. Arati M. Dixit is working with Computer Engineering Department, PVPIT, Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU) with multiple responsibilities. She is a visiting faculty and Ph.D. Guide at Department of Technology, SPPU. She has been associated with the academic profession for last 16+ years. She has been associated with Ph.D. students at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology and Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her areas of interest are Cyber Security, Cyber Physical Systems, and Soft Computing. She has been a member of Board of Studies and Research Recommendation Committees with reputed Institutes/Universities.

She is an ACM Senior Member and a member of ACM India’s ESP- Eminent Speaker Program(on lines of ACM DSP). She has been founding Vice-Chairperson of ACM iSIGCSE(India Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education). iSIGCSE has been instrumental in organizing many events on CS2013 Curricula in India. She is a Chairperson of ACM Pune Professional Chapter. She has been an active ACM-W volunteer supporting and advocating full engagement of women in computing. She has been actively involved in organizing Celebration of Women in Computing events across India since the first one organized in 2013.

Arati M. Dixit received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering(minor: Mathematics) from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA. She has also completed The Certificate in Scientific Computing Program from Wayne State University. She is an Alumni of IIT Bombay with M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. She has done BE in Computer Engineering from University of Pune.
