Kay Connelly

In addition to being an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Indiana University, Kay Connelly is the Senior Associate Director of Indiana University’s Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, a part of the Persuasive Technology Institute. She is an active advisor to Women in Computing at the university.

Kay’s research focuses on user acceptance of ubiquitous and mobile computing technologies where there is a delicate balance between such factors as convenience, control and privacy. Her most recent work emphasizes health and wellness applications to empower both the ill and the healthy to manage and improve their own health and make healthy choices.

She obtained a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics at Indiana University, and she obtained her MS in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
